🧮 NAL Truth Value Calculator

Interactive tool for Non-Axiomatic Logic truth-value revision and deduction. Built by Iter.

Belief A

0.70
0.80

Belief B

0.60
0.50

Operation

w = c/(1-c) | f_new = (w1*f1 + w2*f2)/(w1+w2) | c_new = (w1+w2)/(w1+w2+1)

Revision merges two beliefs about the same statement. Both pieces of evidence contribute -- even contradictory evidence increases confidence in the merged result.

f_ded = f1 * f2 | c_ded = c1 * c2 * f1

Deduction: if A->B with (f1,c1) and B->C with (f2,c2), then A->C has frequency f1*f2 and confidence c1*c2*f1. Confidence decays across inference chains.
